Part of Hyderabad's historical Chowmahalla palace collapses after heavy rains - 10 Tv

HYDERABAD: Due to the heavy rains, a portion of Chowmahalla palace at the main gate which holds the clock tower was collapsed and created panic among the historic buffs. According to the sources, the decorative part of the balcony in the Khilwat clock tower collapsed and fell on the Mothigali street and wooden beams also dislocated.
Sources said that no causalities were reported and the emergency works will take place immediately to prevent further damage. Chowmahalla Palace is a historical monument which is just a few stones away from Hyderabad iconic monument Charminar.
According to historians, Chowmahalla Palace dates back to 1750 and the architecture of the palace astound the visitors and one can also visit the artefacts and vehicles belongs to Asaf Jahi's era. Earlier, in May 2019, a part of Charminar minaret fell down during the restoration works. Click the video for more information.
