Corona victim's body carried to cremation ground on JCB in Andhra Pradesh
PALASA: In a shocking incident, the dead body of Coronavirus patient was carried in a JCB earthmover to the burial ground for cremation. The heart-wrenching incident took place in Udayapuram, Palasa, Srikakulam. According to the sources, a 72-year-old man, a former municipal employee died after Coronavirus and locals pressured his granddaughter to remove the body. She called the municipal workers to shift the body to the burial ground for cremation.
The PPE -clad municipal workers wrapped the dead body in a cloth and carried in a JCB front portion to the cremation ground. After getting the information, the District collector J Nivas expressed angry over the incident and suspended the Municipal Commissioner C Nagender Kumar and the sanitary inspector in the issue.
