Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has filed a petition against the AP government in the High Court for not implementing its order of reappointing him as the State Election Commissioner (SEC). In the petition, Ramesh brought to the notice of the High Court that the state government has violated its orders. The High Court has accepted Ramesh’s petition. He termed Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary (Panchayat Raj) and Secretary of the State Election Commission as respondents. On Tuesday, a secret meeting between Ramesh, MP Sujana Chowdary and the BJP leader Kamineni Srinivas created a political storm in AP.
