Covid 'situation worsening', says WHO as global cases cross 70 lakh-mark
World Health Organisation has expressed its concern over the alarming rise of the corona cases. It has warned that the COVID situation is worsening all across the globe WHO chief said that in a single day on June 7th, the world witnessed the number of COVID-19 cases at 1.36 lakh.
WHO Chief Tedros Ghebreyesus has alerted all the governments on this aspect as public gatherings resume after the relaxations given in the lockdown period. He said that so far, 7 million cases of corona have been reported, and the number of deaths reached 400,000.
Ghebreyesus said though the situation in Europe is improving, it is worsening worldwide.
