The Supreme Court on Wednesday struck down the petition filed by the AP government regarding party colours to the government buildings. The Apex Court defended the verdict delivered by the High Court. The High Court directed the state government to erase colours on all government buildings in four weeks after the lockdown is lifted. Earlier, the High Court instructed the AP government to remove the colours resembling the YSRC party on government buildings. The Advocate-General has requested the High Court to give three months time for removal of colours but it gave only three weeks.
