Responding to comments made by Hindupur MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, Tollywood director Teja said that the Telugu film industry will be permanent but heroes, producers and directors are not. He defended his statement by saying that Tollywood is still going on even after the demise of legendary actors NT Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, SV Ranga Rao and directors BN Reddy and Dasari Narayana Rao. However, he opined that all the actors and technicians associated with Tollywood should have been called for the meeting held to discuss the resumption of shootings after the lockdown.
