Nimmagadda Ramesh withdraws 317 circular after Andhra's AG's objection
AMARAVATI: After Advocate General S. Subramanya Sriram objection, Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar withdrew the circular which he passed that he has taken charges as State Election Commissioner on Saturday. According to the sources, the SEC secretary said that the orders regarding the taking charge as SEC were withdrawn. It is known that the Ramesh Kumar issued circular to all district collectors, Zilla Parishads, municipal commissioners, panchayat officers mentioning the HC orders to restore him to the office of SEC.
On Saturday night, Advocate General S. Subramanya Sriram objected that the action of Ramesh Kumar issuing circular that he has taken charges as SEC is illegal as High Court had not asked him to take the charge as SEC.
