Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has warned that making remote work permanent could have serious consequences for social interaction and mental health for workers.
In an interview with New York Times, Satya Nadella has made it clear that virtual video calls cannot replace one-to-one personal meetings. He further stated that physical meetings are more effective than virtual interactions. The Microsoft CEO’s statements assumed importance when all the countries in the world were exploring the options of allowing employees to work from home during the coronavirus crisis to revive the economic activity.
