AP govt announces reopening date for schools
The AP government on Tuesday announced August 3 as the reopening date for all schools in the state. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed officials to complete all the development works by the end of July.
In the first phase, the government had decided to complete the renovation of 15,715 government schools under the ‘Nadu-Nedu’ scheme. Meanwhile, the state government has released Rs 456 crore as revolving fund for the completion of the ‘Nadu-Nedu’ works. The CM directed the district collectors to review ongoing ‘Nadu-Nedu’ works every day.
