TTD resumes laddu sales after 57 days of Covid-19 lockdown
Resumption of laddu prasadam sales have begun by the TTD after a long break of 57 days. The TTD closed the Tirumala temple because of the lockdown imposed to stop the spread of coronavirus. It has opened counters at TTD administrative building and Srinivasa Kalyanam.
The TTD has decided to sell 500 each big laddus and vada prasadam. Based on the demand, small laddus will be sold very soon. After Hundi, the TTD gets more revenue with laddu sales. Prior to lockdown, devotees used to purchase 4 lakh laddus every day.
