Ghost villages turn into quarantine centres for migrants
DEHRADUN: Stranded migrants across the nation are stepping towards their home towns during the lockdown crisis, meanwhile the officials in the Uttarakhand shifting the migrant workers who reached the state from other states to quarantine centres. According to the reports, officials converting the abandoned houses in the villages into quarantine centres for migrant workers.
It is known that the villages were abandoned by the people for many years as they left the villages for lack of employment. Reports said that there are a lot of abandoned houses in Pauri district's ghost's village and is said that 186 ghost villages exist in the state. Click the video for more information.
