Cyclone 'Amphan' to hit Andhra Pradesh

VISAKHAPATNAM: Amidst the Coronavirus scare, India Meteorological Department said a cyclone is likely to form on the Bay of Bengal in this week. According to the sources, the cyclone may hit Andhra Pradesh on May 7th and is named as the Amphan. IMD said that thunderstorms, lightning with winds may hit the north and south coastal AP, Yanam, some regions in Rayalaseema.
It is learnt that the IMD didn't give any warning to Andhra Pradesh after the cyclone. Meanwhile, the cyclone warning centre in Visakhapatnam cautioned the fishermen to not venture into the sea fro next 24 hours. Click the video for more information.
