Shock to CM Jagan: Centre hints at not to go ahead with AP capital shifting?
According to sources, the Central government reportedly asked the state government not to go ahead with shifting of the capital from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam in the wake of widespread coronavirus in several states including Andhra Pradesh. The Centre cautioned the AP government that the financial crisis may erupt because of Covid-19. Reports are doing rounds that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to begin official work from Visakhapatnam by April-end. The AP government allegedly is going ahead with its capital shifting plans despite the High Court orders.
