2.5 lakh Indian students stuck in US amid coronavirus pandemic

Around 2.5 lakh Indian students have stuck in the USA as universities and other educational institutions were closed due to the spread of coronavirus. The issue was brought to the notice of Taranjit Singh Sandhu, India’s Ambassador to the US. He advised students to stay in their respective places and assured them of extending their visas tenure by speaking to the Trump administration. The Telugu associations in the USA are in touch with the students. But, they are unable to provide support in the wake restrictions imposed because of Covid-19.
