Sonia Gandhi writes letter to PM Modi, suggests five measures to cut expenses
NEW DELHI: Congress party president Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and welcomed the cabinet decision to cut down the MPLADs and other preventive measures taken. According to the sources, Sonia Gandhi suggested five measures to conserve money during the Coronavirus pandemic. She asked the Centre to move PM CARES funds to PMNRF and asked to cancel all the foreign visits of leaders. She also suggested imposing a ban on advertisements to media by government and PSU's.
