34 foreigners who attend Markaz prayers arrested in Chennai

Nizamuddin religious gathering incident in New Delhi has created a sensation in the country. The event has led to the spread of corona cases among many all across the country. Recently, 34 foreigners who attended the said event got arrested in Chennai. They got shifted to the quarantine centres in Chennai. Eighteen persons from Indonesia, six from Thailand and ten from Malayasia were booked for flouting the VISA rules, Cases under National Disaster Act 2005, Epidemic Disease Act, have been booked against them for propagating the religion in some of the places like Salem, Erode and Chennai.
