Tiger at Bronx Zoo in USA tests positive for coronavirus
A four-year-old tiger named Nadia has tested positive for the novel coronavirus at Bronx Zoo in New York on Sunday. Nadia was tested for the virus after she and six other tigers and lions developed symptoms of the respiratory illness. The authorities have closed the zoo from March 16 onwards as the USA struggles with the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, Dr KK Agarwal has clarified that coronavirus will not spread from pet animals. He further stated that a dog in Singapore had shown symptoms of coronavirus.
