Hyderabad police gave permission for students staying in hostels to go to their native places. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Hyderabad Joint Commissioner Srinivas said about 5,000 students are residing in various hostels falling under Panjagutta and SR Nagar police station limits. Students are facing difficulties with the closure of hostels after lockdown was announced for 21 days, he mentioned. We are giving one time permit for students to go to their native places, he stated, adding that the permit is valid for 24 hours.
