Reliance sets up India's first COVID-19 dedicated hospital

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has set up India's first COVID-19 dedicated Seven Hills hospital in Mumbai. Reports suggest that it has 100-bedded facilities and has a special protection system. The hospital is facilitated with a negative pressure room that prevents cross-contamination and prevents the spread of the infection. This hospital is fully funded by the Reliance Foundation. The unique feature is that all beds are equipped with the necessary infrastructure, patient monitoring devices. It is also equipped with biomedical equipment like ventilators, pacemakers, dialysis machines, and others.
