TPCC working president A Revanth Reddy and his brother A Kondal Reddy have allegedly encroached upon some lands at Gopanpally village in Serilingampally Mandal. It is further alleged that the Revanth Reddy brothers had created false documents to get the land registered in their names. According to the reports, the then Deputy Collector/Tahsildar of Serilingampally, D Srinivas Reddy, who tied to the present Congress Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy's land case has been suspended. In the investigation process, it has come to the observation that the said land belonged to a man named Vadde Mallaiah since 1978. It was later transferred to Mallaiah’s successor, E Laxmaiah and others. However, a lot of clarification is needed on surname issue and the number of people who actually have rights on the land parcel. The land-owners in question had sold the land to Revanth Reddy and his brother with the help of Deputy Collector Srinivas Reddy.
