Hyderabad Old City auto driver gets UIDAI notice to prove Indian nationality, create ripples - ABN

HYDERABAD: Amidst protests against Central government decision on CAA and NRC in the country, a man in Hyderabad received notices from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to prove his citizenship. According to the sources, an auto driver identified as Mohammad Sattar Khan of Bhavani Nagar lies under Old City received notices from UIDAI to appear before the director and enquiry officer with all original documents stating his national citizenship on 20th February. Reports revealed that UIDAI officials received a complaint that Sattar Khan got Aadhaar card by submitting fake documents who never travelled to any other country. It is learnt that 127 people in the city received the notices to prove their nationality and a functional hall was fixed as the venue to attend the enquiry. Now, the notices creating ripples across the city.
