New UK Finance Minister: Rishi Sunak, son-in-law of Infosys’ Narayana Murthy
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has appointed Indian-origin Rishi Sunak as his new finance minister in a cabinet reshuffle. He replaces Sajid Javid, who resigned from his post. Sunak is married to Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy’s daughter. Murthy will join Home secretary Priti Patel on the top government bench as the Chancellor of the Exchequer. He graduated from Oxford University and joined politics in 2014. Sunak becomes the third Indian origin minister in Boris’ cabinet. Watch this video to know more about Sunak.
