Surprise raids on 130 private schools collecting high fee in AP
Officials of the AP Education department conducted surprise raids on 130 schools which are collecting high fees from students on Thursday morning. Ten private schools from each district were selected for raids. The YSRCP government constituted 'Fee Regulatory and Quality Control Commission' to review the schools on various parameters like infrastructure in schools, educational qualifications of teachers and facilities provided to students. Except for the DEOs, no official was aware of raids till today morning. The panel likely to issue notices to those schools lacking proper amenities to students and running with underqualified teachers.
