Hyderabad 2nd Largest Metro Network In India- KTR F 2 F
Hyderabad has achieved another feat recently as its Metro rail became the second largest metro network in India after New Delhi. The total stretch of Hyderabad Metro has gone up to 69 km. The recent metro stretch of 11-km Corridor II Green Line covers nine stations. This corridor connects the twin cities of Secunderabad with Hyderabad i.e from Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) to the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) on the Musi river. Minister KTR, while speaking to the media said this is the biggest solution to traffic congestion. He said the Metro project has overcome many shortcomings and faced much criticism, but in the end, this project got 150 awards for its engineering excellence. CEO and MD SN Subrahmanyam of L & T said it is truly fantastic Metro and added that the commuters are very much happy with passenger-friendly Metro.
