AP Govt suspends senior IPS Officer AB Venkateswara Rao
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday late night issued suspension orders to senior IPS officer AB Venkateswara Rao alleging violating the All India Services rules while he was the Additional Director General of Police during the previous reign. According to the sources, state chief secretary Nilam Sawhney issued orders over IPS officer Venkateswara Rao after receiving reports from the DGP Gautam Sawang alleging serious misconduct which is a threat to national security. Earlier, Venkateswara Rao removed from Intelligence chief post by YS Jagan-led government after YCP came into the power. For more information watch the video.
