CM YS Jagan Justifies 3-Capital Plan For Andhra, Says Amaravati Wasn't Viable
AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has tried to justify the 3-Capital plan for Andhra Pradesh saying that Amaravati wasn't viable. He said there are no funds for the futuristic Amaravati capital and cited financial concern for scrapping the proposal of the previous TDP government. CM Jagan said, 'We needed Rs 1.09 lakh crore to proceed with the earlier plan. CM Jagan said his government could only afford to spend a maximum of Rs 6,000 crore more, which would have been like a drop in the ocean.
