Maoists set village on fire, creates chaos
MALKANGIRI: Maoist cadres set fire to Janturai village in Malkangiri district, Andhra Odisha border over revenge on Maoist death. According to the sources, on Republic Day, two armed Maoist members entered the village and threaten the villagers against the Republic Day celebrations and even opposed the road works in the village. Angry over Maoists after opposing their development, villagers started stone pelting over them and one Maoist died on the spot, another severely injured. To take revenge over the villagers after the incident, Maoist cadres set the village on the fire and caused severe damage. Police conducting combing around the village.
