Legislative council chairman Muhammad Ahmad Shariff has referred three capital bill to select committee after a day-long drama comes to an end. The legislative council chairman Shariff has referred the decentralization and equal development of all regions and repeal of CRDA bills to the select committee after a series of adjournments. It is a shocker for the ruling party members and they tried to object it. They have protested in front of the chairman's chamber in the upper house, but it could not be materialized. Legislative Affairs Minister Buggana Rajendranath objected to it, citing rules and procedures. However, the Legislative council chairman has used his special power to exercise his jurisdiction. It is learned for at least for another three months, Amaravati will continue to remain the state capital of Andhra Pradesh.
