Ex-APCC chief Raghuveera quits politics, turns farmer
Former APCC president Raghuveera Reddy has quit politics and turned into a farmer. He served as Congress president for truncated Andhra Pradesh. But, he failed to revive the Congress in the State as people angry on the party for bifurcating united AP. The post was vacant for several months after Raghuveera had tendered resignation. The Congress high command appointed former minister and Congress leader S Sailajanath as new AP Congress chief. He assured party top leaders of reviving the Congress in the state.
