Off The Record: Focus on political career of ex-CM Kiran Kumar Reddy
Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, the final and last chief minister of the united Andhra Pradesh is maintaining distance from politics. He became prominent in politics from 2004 to 2014 due to the blessings of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and Congress high command. In 2014, he founded Jai Samaikyandhra Party after AP was bifurcated. But, there was no response from the people towards his party. In 2019, he rejoined the Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi. Rumours were rife that he will be appointed as the APCC chief.
