Iran fires rockets at foreign embassies including US in Baghdad's Green Zone
Loud blasts followed by sirens were heard in the Iraqi capital. The Iraqi military said two rockets had fallen inside Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone, which houses government buildings and foreign missions, causing a fire but no casualties. At least one fell 100 metres from the US embassy. It comes a day after Iran launched missiles at US forces in Iraq overnight, following the US killing of Iranian general Qassem Suleimani. US President Trump said 'Iran appears to be standing down' following missile strikes.
