CM Jagan might shift capital from Amaravati to Vizag: Chalasani Srinivas
Andhra Pradesh Intellectual Forum convenor Chalasani Srinivas said that statements made by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on the last day of the winter session of Assembly have indicated that he may shift capital from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam. He explained that the YSRCP government was moving in the direction of decentralisation of powers. Chalasani advised the government to focus on decentralisation on development instead of decentralisation of powers. At the same time, he suggested that the chief minister should make use of 53,000 acres of land in Amaravati.
