CBI files case against Padmashree awardee Leela Samson - Etv

CHENNAI: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a case against popular Bharatnatyam dancer, the then director of Kalakeshtra Foundation and Padma Shree awardee Leela Samson. It is alleged that Leela Samson along with four others involved in irregularities took place in the renovation of Koothambalam Auditorium in Chennai. It is said that the renovation work was handed over to an architect consultant at higher rates, against the rules. CBI filed the case on Thursday after receiving a complaint from Chief Vigilance Officer of Ministry of Culture.
