Chandrababu complains to governor against restrictions on media
VIJAYAWADA: Political issues flared up in Andhra Pradesh during Winter sessions in Legislative Assembly. Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party national president Chandrababu Naidu met Andhra Pradesh governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan and complained against GO 2430, which provides department heads to sue the media channels for baseless and false news articles. TDP termed the GO is against the freedom of the press. TDP leaders along with Chandrababu Naidu complained that Jagan-led government is not allowing some media channels to cover the Assembly sessions in the state. They requested the governor to intervene in the matter and take necessary actions. For more information please watch the video.
