SC appointed panel to probe killing of Disha accused - NDTv

The Supreme Court has ordered an independent commission on Thursday to inquire into the killing of the four accused of the Disha gang-rape and murder. The commission will be headed by retired Supreme Court judge VS Sirpurak and will include Justice Rekha, a former Bombay High Court judge and former CBI Director Karthikeyan. The panel, which will be based out of Hyderabad, will submit a report to the Supreme Court in 6 months. The Chief Justice of India SA Bobde said that people must know the facts about the killing of the accused.
