The ruling YSRCP is being criticized for painting the government offices with the YSRCP flag color across the state, from the last five months. The Tricolour was also reportedly erased to paint YSR Congress Party colour in the panchayat buildings. The opposition TDP took a strong dig at the ruling YSRCP over this act. TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh has alleged that the YSRCP government is disrespecting and insulting the tricolour flag. He has doubted that even the state Police wing will wear the dress of YSRCP flag colour.

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has also hit out the ruling YSRCP government after objecting the pedestal of Gandhiji’s statue, which has been painted in party colours again in Vizianagaram district.

TDP President has tweeted alleging that YSRCP is not learning lessons after drawing flak for disrespecting the national tricolor and questioned the government for showing arrogance. He has alleged that the government is showing its true colours.
