Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde took oath as 47th Chief Justice of India. He succeeds Justice Ranjan Gogoi. His career began as a judge on March 29, 2000 when he was appointed as Additional Judge in the Bombay High Court. He rose to become Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court on October 16, 2012. In an interview, Justice Arvind Bobde said that the justice delivery system in India was good, but may require minor changes like the use of technology including artificial intelligence.
