Disqualified Karnataka MLAs’ case : All eyes on Supreme Court as it delivers verdict today - Tv9

Supreme Court is expected to pronounce its verdict on the petitions of 17 disqualified MLAs who belong to Congress and the Janata Dal (Secular).
The 17 MLAs filed petitions in the SC challenging the decision of then speaker KR Ramesh Kumar, MLAs disqualified for a period of six years after they submitted their resignations from the house. A bench comprising of Justices NV Ramana, Sanjiv Khanna and Krishna Murari will deliver its verdict. The bypoll date has been fixed as December 5. The verdict will decide whether the disqualified MLAs can contest the bypoll or not.
