As part of its revised selection process, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced a $10 hike in its H-1B work visa application fee. By doing so, the process will support the new electronic registration system to make the H-1B cap selection process more effective and efficient. By the new e- registration system, USCIS will take the initiative to modernize the immigration system while detecting fraud, improving vetting procedures and also improving the program integrity.
It is well known that the H-1B program allows US companies to temporarily employ foreign workers in occupations.
