Massive H-1B visas’ denial for Indian IT firms under Trump rule
The Trump government rejected H-1B visas of techies belonging to top Indian IT companies. The rejection rate has increased from 6 to 24 per cent after Trump became the US President. However, the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has accepted the H-1B visas submitted by US-based companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Google. Even, L1 visas were denied for the majority employees working in the top Indian IT firms. The main reason for denial was Trump’s administration policy of giving priority to locals in jobs.
