The Hyderabad city is competing with Delhi in air pollution. The Telangana State Pollution Control Board measured the air quality after the Diwali festival. It was found 830 micrograms per cubic metre of air in Hyderabad. Last year during the corresponding month, it was 622 micrograms per cubic metre. The PCB said that if air has more than 300 micrograms per cubic metre then it is dangerous for human lives. The people will face breath related problems if they continuously inhale the highly polluted air.
