Sourav Ganguly takes over as BCCI president, ends 33-month tumultuous CoA reign

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has finally taken over as the 39th president of BCCI in the General Body Meeting at the cricket board’s headquarters in Mumbai. Saurav is one of the finest captains of the Indian cricket team and on October 23. Saurav Ganguly was officially made the head of the cricketing body i.e BCCI's Mumbai Headquarters. He was being unanimously chosen as the presidential candidate at a meeting earlier this month.
Ganguly was one of India’s most decorated captains ever.
