NASA: Women Make Space History
Two Nasa astronauts Chirstina Koch and Jessica Meir made first female spacewalking team, 260 miles above earth on Friday, 18th October to fix a broken part of the power network. They came out of the International Space Station’s (ISS) Quest airlock and the space walk is known as extra-vehicular activity. It was five and half hour spacewalk, the astronauts remained attached to handrails on the exterior of ISS using harnesses and pairs of metal carabiners. This spacewalk has been considered as the historic one.
