TV9 Ex-CEO Ravi Prakash Files Quash Petition In High Court to Cancel FIR

Former TV9 CEO Ravi Prakash has filed a quash petition in the high court to cancel FIR against him. In the petition, former TV9 CEO has urged the court bench to strike off the FIR immediately alleging that he was arrested on the basis of the allegations only. The court took notice of it and directed the Banjara Hills Police officials to stop action against former TV9 CEO till November 2nd, 2019. The High Court is also likely to give a verdict on the bail plea applied by Ravi Prakash within a day or two.
The former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TV9, V Ravi Prakash was arrested in connection with the alleged withdrawal of Rs 18 crores from Associated Broadcasting Company Limited (ABCL), the promoter of TV9.
