TDP national general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh has landed in a controversy because of slip of the tongue. Addressing a meeting, Lokesh said that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu had recommended the name of APJ Abdul Kalam for the post of Indian president to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2012. But, Vajpayee worked as Indian prime minister during 2002. Probably, Lokesh is not checking facts after speechwriters writing script for him. When TDP wants to project Lokesh as their future leader, goof-ups will damage his reputation.
