Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has said in the Assembly that he suggested to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu not to invest Rs 53,000 crore on construction of capital city Amaravati. It is debt investment and advised him to spend money on providing water to Rayalaseema region, he stated. The Chief Minister found fault with Lok Satta founder Jayaprakash Narayan for criticising lift irrigation schemes in Telangana. He flayed him for speaking in support of debt investment on capital city construction.
