Cyberabad Traffic DCP Vijaykumar Face To Face Over Traffic Rules - HMTv

After the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2019 is passed in the Parliament, the penalty has been increased for violating the rules. Traffic rules violators have to pay hefty fines for Traffic violations from September 1, 2019. Cyberabad Traffic DCP Vijaykumar while speaking to a media channel said the violations of traffic rules would now attract a penalty of Rs 500 in place of Rs 100 earlier. He said, people, who do not have a valid driving license could end up paying Rs.5,000 as against the present Rs.500. He said, penalty on traffic rule violations includes driving without helmet, over-speeding, drunk driving, provisions pertaining to driving licenses, vehicle registration, offenses by a juvenile, dangerous driving and without insurance has been increased by five to 10 times.
