World Champion PV Sindhu Receives Grand Welcome At Delhi Aiport

Indian star shuttler P.V. Sindhu said she will try to win more medals for the country in the times to come. Olympic Silver Medalist Sindhu told reporters upon her arrival in the national capital on Tuesday. The 24-year-old shuttler has thanked her coaches Gopichand and Kim stating that they are behind her success.

PV Sindhu defeated Japan's Nozomi Okuhara 21-7, 21-7 in the final of the women's singles event in Basel, Switzerland. With this win, Badminton Ace player became the first Indian shuttler to win gold at the BWF World Championships.
