AP High Court Reserves Judgment on Chandrababu Security Petition - Tv9

The Andhra Pradesh High Court, which took up the writ petition filed by former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu over less security to him has reserved judgment. Advocate General while taking up the case on behalf of the government stated that the state government has been providing security to former CM Chandrababu Naidu as per the norms and added that 74 security persons are there to look after him. He has also added that security has also been provided at former CM's residence in Hyderabad. After YSRCP has come into power, the government has held a review meeting on the security issue of the prominent leaders and officials. As part of it, the new state government has reduced the security cover of former CM Chandrababu Naidu, his son Nara Lokesh and other family members. Some of the TDP leaders have filed a petition in the High Court after seeing that security cover for former CM has been reduced. They have appealed the Court for the restoration of security to him.
