Recently, BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav had met former TDP MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao at the latter's residence in Guntur. Ram Madhav invited Rayapati into the BJP. However, Rayapati did not give assurance to Madhav on joining BJP. Coming to know about BJP top leader meeting Rayapati, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu met Sambasiva Rao in Hyderabad and assured him of making his son Ranga Rao as TDP in-charge for Sattenapalli Assembly constituency. Also, Chandrababu promised Rayapati to settle Rs 100 crore dues from Navayuga Engineering Company.
